2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty Overview

by | Feb 28, 2025 | F350

The 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty continued to build on the heavy-duty reputation of its predecessors while fully transitioning to the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel. This marked the end of the 7.3L Power Stroke, making the 6.0L the only diesel option available.

While the 6.0L Power Stroke offered more power and better towing capabilities, early versions of this engine were prone to reliability issues if not properly maintained. Other than minor refinements, the 2004 model remained largely unchanged from 2003, continuing its strong presence in the heavy-duty truck segment.
